The possessor of slot machine had about a half of its profit. There is a unjust opinion that slot machines in the 19th century were bigger than present ones. But it's actually no difference between early and new slot machines. The most significant dissimilarity is that images were various back then. Modern slot machines with fruit images appeared a bit later. Having invented such profitable machine Charles Fay started trading his slot machines and earned much this way. The very first machine was named the “Liberty Bell.”. At those times trading was developing considerably that is why Charles Fay had a great chance to create his own gambling industry.
In 1907, Charles Fey decided to become partners with the Mills Novelty Company to produce a row of modern slot machines. The first produce was the Mills Liberty Bell. After 3 years of successful cooperation Miles Company made a decision to develop a slot machine with fruit images. It was Operator Bell. The disadvantage of first slot machines was that they were made of iron and it was not so simply to lug it from one casino to the other.
